On the day of legal completion, purchasers will be met by a Britannia representative and a demonstration will be given of the various parts and appliances within the property, and we will present an information pack containing the following information

  • Welcome letter
  • Instruction booklets
  • Contact telephone numbers
  • Fact finder questionnaire and addressed envelope

After confirmation from head office that all funds have been received, the keys will be released and meters will be read. A copy of the readings, along with the purchaser’s details, will be sent to the relevant utility companies. A copy will also be sent to the purchaser.

 

If Britannia is contacted by a home owner during the first 2 years - the initial guarantee period - the following service procedures will apply:

  • Britannia will make contact within 3 working days
  • Works should be dealt with within 21 working days
  • If neither of these deadlines is achievable for any extraordinary reason, the homeowner will be advised accordingly
