Britannia’s Sales and Marketing Director, Liz Green, is on a mission to raise money for Cancer Research in 2012 with a commitment to take on 12 charity challenges in 12 months. The first one has already been successfully completed with a sky dive in Las Vegas!
Liz’s fitness will be put to the test with the remaining challenges including Race for Life runs in Huddersfield, Bolton, Halifax and York as well as the Great North Run and the Great Manchester Run. Liz will also be doing a swimming challenge, a rock climb, a sponsored bake, zumbathon and a fundraising collection across Yorkshire, covering all seven of Britannia’s developments in one day.
“Doing 12 challenges in as many months won’t be easy and I’m sure that at the very least I’m going to have some very sore feet at certain points of the year! The sky dive was a mental test as much as a physical one – it was way out of my comfort zone but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m already looking forward to more new experiences with some of the other challenges.”
Liz has set up a fundraising page on the Cancer Research website – donations can be made by visiting
